Description
This necklace features a vintage sterling silver rattle, c. 1950, on a chain created with antique and handwoven sterling chain. The rattle depicts Little Miss Muffet from the English nursery rhyme:
"Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey;
There came a big spider,
Who sat down beside her
And frightened Miss Muffet away."
Given the size of the spider on this rattle, running away seems like a wise option for Miss Muffet!
