An antique English, etched and pierced sterling silver medal drops from a mixed metal necklace made from handwoven sterling chainmaille. The center shield has a layer of rose gold and the initials "C G S" and underneath "S C" then directly below that "1902."  The reverse side of the medal is inscribed "Won By R. Shove" and diagonally across in script "Championship."  The medal was made in Birmingham, England in 1900.
